Kudos to the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity’s Spotlight on Spending report on “non-essential or wasteful” government spending.
The full report is an eye-opening, jaw-dropping read. It is an moral presentation from a group that refuses to be intimidated, exposing how Rhode Island legislators and government officials are abusing their power, ripping-off taxpayers, and undermining the Constitution — all under the guise of being “do-gooders” (with other people’s money) and with a “bureaucrat-knows-best” arrogance.
The better statesmen are fighting to protect individual rights. Spotlight on Spending gives these better legislators a specific alternative road map to economic and political freedom. And it gives taxpayers detailed knowledge, and reason to be morally incensed at the schemes destroying their hard earned money and freedom.
