Even more jobs lost in Rhode Island, and what are YOU doing to turn the tide?
October 6, 2014
Last Friday, even more moms and dads in Rhode Island lost their jobs due to yet another business leaving Rhode Island.
IMPORTANT: You will notice that NOT A SINGLE news organization in Rhode Island cited the REAL reason for the plant closing. The RI Tea Party had to find a news source from Pennsylvaniafor the most accurate quote from the Osram leadership regarding why they are leaving Rhode Island:
According to the Central Penn Business Journal, Sylvania cites the fact that the present leadership in Congress made it illegal to manufacture the traditional light bulbs we have used for decades as the reason why the closure was necessary and the loss of jobs occurred.
According to Anne Guertin, manager of corporate communications for Osram, the market "is moving from a traditional lighting business towards more energy-saving solid-state lighting products PER LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS," NOT by way of people CHOOSING to buy different light bulbs.
This loss of jobs is clearly a direct result of politicians meddling in the free market.
At what point do you begin to fight?
When do you say enough is enough?
Will you condemn future generations to live the same life we've been forced to accept over the past decade?
Without your action, our freedoms and our prosperity are quickly eroding.
