THE CITIZENS Can Take Control Tomorrow: Vote for the People's Convention

Evil prevails only when good men and women do nothing. A People's Convention is a once in a decade chance for concerned citizens, not politicians, to create a better future for our state.
The special interests and political class that oppose empowerment of the good people of Rhode Island, the ones for whom the phrase, "deriving their just powers from the CONSENT of the governed . . ." was written to guard against, are the very same people driving Rhode Island down the road to catastrophe, and all measures to stop them, even the ones that arouse fear of the unknown, MUST be taken.
A "YES" vote on Question 3 can go a long way to achieving that desperately needed goal, and we urge everyone to do just that.
Picture waking up in the morning and feeling strangely cheerful. Something different is in the air. It's the feeling of optimism and HOPE.
The ominous cloud threatening Rhode Island is lifted and the policies of the last few decades curtailed solely because the PEOPLE have spoken, NOT the special interests.
This can happen, but only if the once-in-a decade vote is approved for a Constitutional Convention.
This opportunity lies with you and YOU ALONE.
A Constitutional Convention, for many of us, is a once in a lifetime opportunity to invite that sunnier political climate to RI.
What are some potential benefits of a ConCon?
Ethical oversight of the general assembly and of unethical bureaucrats in the political class.
Significant limitation of the out-of-control spending, taxation, and regulation.
Properly returning the choice of education back to parents (as opposed to PC state propaganda).
Protecting the integrity of the vote (e.g., enforcing voter ID and banning the "master lever").
Protecting state union employees from fear and intimidation by union bosses.
Protecting taxpayers from union boss's sweet (and unaffordable) "deals."
Eliminating bureaucrats' ability to choose winners and losers in the marketplace and eliminating thecorruption of "moral" obligation bonds such as those forced upon us by 38 Studios that steal money from taxpayers.
Making RI a place that offers a welcoming business climate.
Eliminating the death tax that causes business entrepreneurs, who invested in RI, to pack up and flee.
We need you to get involved in the fight for your liberty, for individual rights--and against those wanting to destroy us through the cancer of progressive collectivism.

Rhode Islanders are in desperate need of a political climate change--toward genuine freedom, the freedom that allows each of us, as individuals, to flourish and reap the benefits of our work and our minds while encouraging a genuine feeling of goodwill toward one another.
